Early Life 

On February 8, 1972 Paul Donald Wight II was born in Aiken, South Carolina. At the little age of 6, he was already 6ft 2in tall weighing 100kg and had grown chest hairs. 

At Wyman King Academy, Wight played basketball and American football. He served as a tight end for the football team and standout center for his basketball team but later quit football after dispute with his coach. By then Paul was already at 7ft 1in (2.16m).

Career & Achievements

After he joined the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1995 he was known as "the son of Andre the Giant" before the ring name is The Giant. 

Big Show signed with WWE (formerly WWF) in 1999 and has gone overboard to win the world championship seven times in WWE and WCW. 

The big man is an 11-time world tag champion with various tag team partners. He has also been the Intercontinental, United States and Hardcore champion additionally accumulating the 24th Triple crown and 12th Grand Slam winner in WWE history. 

Paul Wight is also a known actor and making appearances in movies and television series Single All the Way ,The Waterboy, Royal Pains, Psych, Knucklehead, BurnNotice and more. 

He won the first ever Slime Wrestling world championship at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards defeating The Miz.
