Wait a minute, what?? Some cars costs almost what it could take to own a private jet. When we talk about the most expensive cars in the planet, we are not talking about our regular on road vehicles. When I stated earlier that some of them are worth fortunes that could be used to acquire a private jet, this was the main deal. The Bugatti la Voitre Noire was made in celebration of Bugatti's 100th anniversary and pays homage to the company's history.


The founder of Bugatti, Eltore Bugatti's son Jean Bugatti developed four type 57C Atlantic coupes in the 1930s and drove one of his creations which he named "la Voitre Noire".

This car costs an amazing $18.7 million and it has already been sold to an anonymous buyer but reports claims it to be popular football player, Cristiano Ronaldo. The speed demon has a lot of elegance and was dropped to the world in March at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

The body of the la Voitre Noire is carbon fiber and is hand crafted. It possesses a quad turbo W16 engine sending upwards of 1,500 horsepower (1,119 kilowatts) to all it's four wheels. Though the car was unveiled and sold to an anonymous buyer, it has no interiors and the reason is because it had been worked on for only 6 months. The final road version of this car is not to be expected to be completed for another two and half years.

The Maybach Exelero was a one-off high-performance sports car made by Stola in collaboration with DaimlerChrysler. It was unveiled at the Tempodrom in Berlin in 2005.

In collaboration with Maybach, the initial design of the Exelero was to be influenced by the Maybach SW 38 and built on the platform of the Maybach 57.

The Exelero is powered by a twin turbo V12 engine made by the defunct Maybach (now a part of the Mercedes-Benz division of Daimler AG, and mounted at 60º. Each cylinder has 3 valves, and a compression ratio of 9.2:1. The engine produces 700 PS (690 hp; 515 kW) at 5000 rpm and 752 ft⋅lb (1,020 N⋅m) of torque at 2500 rpm.

The Exelero has a top speed of 351 km/h (218 mph) and a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 4.4 seconds.

The main materials used in the construction of the Exelero's interior are dark and red leather, neoprene, glossy black carbon fiber, and aluminum accents. The Exelero has sport seats with red harness-style seatbelts.

Bugatti Divo

The Bugatti Divo is the fourth most expensive car in the world. It is named after French racing driver Albert Divo, who raced for Bugatti in the 1920s winning the Targa Florio race twice.

The interior in the Divo is relatively similar to the more luxurious Chiron, but has Alcantara upholstery and carbon-fibre trim in order to save weight.

The car is 8.0 seconds quicker than the Chiron around the Nardò test track according to the manufacturer and generates 456 kg (1,005 lb) of downforce at top speed, 90 kg (198 lb) more than the Chiron.

The Bugatti Divo was only produced in 40 units and the car will be built along with the chiron at the Bugatti factory. All 40 cars were pre-sold before the public debut to chiron owners through special invitations by the dealers.

Carbon fiber dominates also the interior of the Veneno Roadster. The carbon fiber monocoque is visible inside the car around the central tunnel and the sills. The two lightweight bucket seats are made from Lamborghini's patented Forged Composite. The woven carbon-fiber CarbonSkin is used to clad the entire cockpit, part of the seats and the headliner.

The P1 LM isn't actually built by McLaren. The company responsible for it is Lanzante, which used the track-only P1 GTR as the basis. Lanzante's P1 LM was developed as a spiritual successor to the McLaren F1 LM. Just six P1 were built, including a prototype, matching the original run of F1 LMs. One of the key modifications made by Lanzante was getting the P1 GTR’s hybrid drivetrain, rated at 986 horsepower, to run on pump gas. In March 2017, Aston Martin revealed that the car would be named Valkyrie, after the Norse mythological figure.
